The breathtaking sea views from the double room were stunning and made for a perfect backdrop to our mornings. The spacious room gave us a comfortable place to unwind after exploring the local sights.
Our stay wasn't without issues. The room showed signs of neglect, with damp patches on the walls and spots of mould that weren't ideal for a cozy getaway. The water pressure in the shower was disappointingly low, making getting clean after a day of adventure less pleasant. Dining also left much to be desired, as the limited menu choices and inflated prices for subpar meals really dampened the experience.

Breathtaking, breathtaking, breathtaking.
The sea views from my room were absolutely stunning, with panoramic sights of the shoreline that took my breath away! I savored every breakfast moment on the sun terrace, soaking up those gorgeous coastal vibes. Plus, the hotel's fresh seafood dishes were a delightful highlight of my stay, especially the fish of the day—so good!

The fish of the day at the hotel restaurant was an absolute delight, expertly crafted by chef Lee – talk about a taste sensation! The sea views from our spacious double room were the icing on the cake for this fab mini break.
The damp patches on the walls could use a bit of TLC, and the car park felt a bit rough around the edges. Still, these didn't ruin the lovely coastal vibes we were enjoying.

Gorgeous views and friendly staff. The restaurant had delightful dishes like the Porth Avallen burger that left us wanting more. The manager was so helpful, even when the place was buzzing!
But goodness, the decor! It felt like stepping into a time machine—minus the fun! And those towels? I'm all for recycling, but it was like a laundry party in our room.

stunning views and quick access to charming charlestown harbor
I had a lovely time enjoying the beautiful gardens and the incredible harbor views during my stay which really made the experience special. plus, I was thrilled to be just a short walk away from Charlestown Harbour, where I could stroll along the scenic coastline and immerse myself in local history at the Shipwreck Centre, making it easy to explore all the highlights of the area during my weekend getaway. My single room was comfortable and cozy, but I did notice that the mugs provided were a bit on the utilitarian side, which took away a little charm from the experience.
